Announcements
- PLEASE LOG/SIGN IN NOW (FREE) TO FACILLITATE SECURE COMMUNICATIONS IN THE FUTURE. As of 5/1/03 I can no longer accept routine, unsecure (i.e. aol) e-mails, but instead they need to be done through this secure web site under "online consultations," once you have already preregistered. Preregistration also is free, but is not instant. Sign-up now so there will not be a delay when you want to ask a question in the future!
- Ian Taras Quits OB (delivering babies, but not gynecology) as of 7/1/06 - For full details, click on the left side bar towards the bottom.
- Dr. Ian Taras became the youngest Chairman of the Department of Ob/Gyn @ West Hills Hospital.
- As of 5/1/03 we have electively dropped our HealthNet Insurance contract. We will continue to see HealthNet patients & bill for you @ the "Out of Network" rate, which will probably mean a few dollar$ more out of your pocket. This was a very difficult decision, but was borne out of intense frustration with every aspect at our attempt to remedy many situations. Call us for more details.
- As of 5/1/03, we will no longer be accepting NEW MediCare patients, but will continue to see our established MediCare patients and any established PPO patient who becomes MediCare. The government needs to fix this problem!
- If you are a patient and either have a business web site or family web site, then why don't you e-mail it to me so that I can link it to my web site? We can build a general store-type atmosphere where you can gather round in cyberspace and find out what is happening in your community!
FOR NEW PATIENTS:
1. Click on My Patient Page
2. Click on Create an Account in the patient login box.
3. Create your user ID and password and complete your registration. You will receive an e-mail confirmation when your registration is "active."
